Arizona Gay Rodeo 2022
Think hot cowboys, tight jeans, boots and big hats and fun in the sun, Arizona Style at the annual Arizona Gay Rodeo, held annually each February.
The Arizona Gay Rodeo is an AGRA-sanctioned rodeo. The event also includes camp drag events, vendors, food, full-service bars, drag performances, dancing, rodeo royalty, games and more – all in a festival-style atmosphere.
Rodeo events include bull riding, steer riding, chute dogging, calf roping (on foot), mounted breakaway roping, barrel racing, pole bending, flag race, team roping, steer decorating, *goat dressing and a *wild drag race. Bareback Bronc riding and Ranch Saddle Bronc Riding will not be offered.
The Gay Rodeo takes place just outside of Phoenix, with all proceeds from the event being donated to local charities. And you can take one of the outrageous party shuttles put on my many bars and clubs to get you to the event!
The event runs from Friday 5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday gates open at 9 a.m. and rodeo begins at 10 a.m.
