The Venue
- Avant Gardner is the epicenter of New York City entertainment. The 80,000 square foot venue complex occupies an entire city block of industrial East Williamsburg, containing a compound of stages and full-service event spaces.
- The vast complex includes The Brooklyn Mirage, The Great Hall, The King’s Hall and The Lost Circus, all serving as individual locales, or combined to make Avant Gardner the second largest entertainment venue in Brooklyn.
Williamsburg
- Williamsburg, Brooklyn, has evolved into a vibrant hub for the LGBTQ+ community, offering a rich mix of culture, nightlife, and dining.
- Metropolitan and The Rosemont are popular gay bars that host regular events and DJ nights.
- For a unique experience, check out Macri Park for its outdoor seating and lively atmosphere
- Enjoy a meal at The Four Horsemen – offering great wine and a cozy vibe.
- Variety Coffee Roasters is a great spot to relax in the afternoon.
Getting to Williamsburg
- By Subway: The easiest way is to take the L train from 8th Avenue in Manhattan. If you’re starting from Hell’s Kitchen or Midtown, you might need to take a connecting subway line (like the A, C, E, or 7) to get to the L train’s 8th Avenue station. The L train will take you directly into Williamsburg, with stops like Bedford Avenue being central to many attractions.
- By Taxi/Rideshare: A taxi or rideshare (Uber, Lyft) can take you directly to Williamsburg. The journey might take anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
