Gay Brussels

Brussels is a city full of fun and surprise around every corner from its cartoon murals to its peeing statues!

Brussels, capital of Belgium and the European Union offers a truly international taste of gay life! compact yet cosmpoliitan, the city has a diverse gay scene, catering to everyone from Twinks to Fetish lovers! The architecture is stunning, a unique mix of Gothic and Art Nouveau. The cuisine is world famous! Most of Brussels’ gay bars, clubs, saunas and shops are located in the city centre in the Saint Jacuqes district, along and around the street Rue du Marché au Charbon (or Kolenmarkt – Brussels and its street names are bilingual: French and Flemish). The gay bars in this street are usually very crowded during weekends and holidays, with people often occupying the street late into the evening. Its fun and welcoming and a great place to meet new friends.

Finally, Brussels is home to La Demence, Europe’s No 1 dance party. The event takes place during key holidays such as Easter, October and New Years. If you plan on visiting the party, book early as the city is full of guys from all across Europe and beyond. Other popular events include the stunning Christmas Markets, the Beer Festival, the chocolate fair and of course the Comic Strip Festival featuring stunning giant balloon versions of your favourite comic characters.
