  • The perfect place to showoff all that junk inside your trunks.
  • From Funky House to Happy Vocal Circuit, enjoy the musical vibes brought to you by our amazing DJ line up and fabulous darg performances.
  • The next edition features DJ Sam Nai at Como Metropolitan, from 2 pm to 8 pm.
  • All dedicated to bringing you that infectious sensual laid back sundown atmosphere to the pool, filled with diva vocals and thumping bass-lines. It’s time to BRING out the sunshine… along with YOUR OWN TRUNKS!
  • Join a host of hot sexy guys in trunks, ready to party all evening.
  • Upgrade your Singapore experience by staying at the Maxwell Reserve Autograph Hotel, rated “Fabulous” by guests, set in a restored heritage shophouse, featuring spacious rooms and great location.

The Venue – COMO Metropolitan Singapore

  • Sky Bar at COMO Metropolitan Singapore occupies Level 19 of COMO Orchard at 30 Bideford Road, just off Orchard Road.
  • Featuring an infinity pool, loungers and an open-air terrace overlooking the city.
  • The pool forms the centrepiece, with space around the water for drinks, conversation and poolside socialising.
  • The adjoining bar offers indoor seating, giving the venue a mix of rooftop space and somewhere to step out of the sun.
  • Orchard and Somerset MRT stations serve the surrounding area.
  • A taxi or Grab is the simplest option from the Chinatown gay bars; allow approximately 15–25 minutes, depending on traffic.

Before the Party

  • Start close to the venue with lunch at COMO Cuisine, inside COMO Orchard. The menu brings together Singaporean dishes, international favourites and lighter options from COMO Shambhala Kitchen, with cocktails served at the restaurant’s long bar. It is a convenient meeting point before heading upstairs.
  • For a casual start, eat around Orchard Road and leave time to return to your hotel, change and collect your pool-party kit. Staying nearby makes this an easy afternoon without a journey across town.
  • Save the gay-bar crawl for the evening. Dorothy’s on Trengganu Street opens from 6 pm, making it an option for drinks after an afternoon pool session.
  • Continue to Tantric on Neil Road, in the Chinatown nightlife area. Open daily from 8 pm, it fits naturally into the evening once you have returned to your hotel and changed.

Where to Stay

Choose Orchard Road for easy access to the pool party, shopping and daytime dining. Chinatown and Duxton make a better base for a weekend centred on the gay bars, local food and evenings on Neil Road.

For a COMO edition of BYOT, staying around Orchard gives you the practical advantage of changing nearby before the party and returning quickly afterwards. From Chinatown or Duxton, plan on a taxi or Grab to the rooftop, with an estimated journey of 15–25 minutes.

Close to the Party

  • COMO Metropolitan Singapore – The most convenient choice for an edition held here. Contemporary rooms feature large windows, rainfall showers and COMO Shambhala toiletries, with a wellness centre and several dining options in the building.
  • Pullman Singapore Orchard – Nearby five-star option at 270 Orchard Road, a short walk from COMO. Fashion-inspired rooms, the P.S.O. Beach Club pool and Eden’s glasshouse restaurant give it plenty of appeal beyond the party.

Close to the Gay Bars

  • Mondrian Singapore Duxton – Perfect for combining BYOT with Singapore’s gay nightlife. Set on Duxton Hill, close to Neil Road and the neighbourhood’s restaurants and cafés. Contemporary rooms, an art collection, the rooftop Canyon Club pool and Jungle Ballroom cocktail bar make it a hotel worth spending time in between outings.
  • Duxton Reserve Singapore, Autograph Collection – Boutique option in Tanjong Pagar for guests who prefer a smaller hotel close to the nightlife.

Gay Map of Singapore

Singapore hosts a great range of LGBT bars, clubs and saunas, from fancy cocktails to dark mazes. Historic Chinatown has become the heart of gay Singapore. Most of the gay nightlife takes place on Neil Road. The neighborhood mixes old and new and side by side are traditional shops and trendy cafes.
