Manilla is a vast city, with many distinctive suburbs. While the city does not have a single “gay district” like some other international cities, there are several areas known for being LGBTQ+-friendly and hosting a variety of gay bars, clubs, and events.
Popular districts include Malate, historically known as the gay capital of Manila and Quezon City, particularly the Tomas Morato and Timog Avenue area, while Bonifacio Global City (BGC) hosts several theme parties and pop-up circuit nights.
