The Event
- San Francisco’s two most legendary block parties are coming together to kick start the new year in San Francisco. The New Year’s Day Block Party features over 70 Dj’s from across the world, 7+ complete stages, fantastic food vendors, clothing vendors, interactive art and lots of fun surprises.
- Breakfast of Champions – What started as an intimate after party at Pier 23 and the tagline “6 am til you cry, Uncle!” BoC is now a bona fide San Francisco tradition and the go-to New Year’s Day event for thousands of dedicated music fans every year.
- Several of San Francisco’s most prominent gay parties will host events on one of the main stages throughout the day, including the legendary Polyglamorous.
The Venue
- The event takes place in The Great Northern, one of the city’s top venues, on 119 Utah Street, San Francisco. Weaving an art deco-inspired design with high tech sound & lighting, The Great Northern sets a new standard for nightlife in San Francisco. The 80,000-watt custom Void sound system is the most high-fidelity nightclub sound you’ve ever experienced.
- The Block party spans the entire street outside the venue as well as inside. The event attracts several thousand visitors each year and has grown to become one of the biggest New Year’s Day celebrations in the USA.
