Mates Leather Weekend brings together like-minded and leather-wearing guys from around the world during the cooling fall weather, perfect for enjoying all the sights of Provincetown in your leather, rubber, or uniform.
- Are you visiting for the Mates Leather Weekend? Stay at the Brass Key Guesthouse, rated “Superb” by guests. The Adults Only hotel features a heated pool and jacuzzi and is home to the popular Shipwrecked bar for pre-party cocktails.

Enjoy a full schedule of parties, events, meet-ups and more during the four days of Mates Leather Weekend Provincetown.
Thursday
- Events kick off on Thursday with a “Prime the Pump” meet-up from 8 pm at Bayside Betsy’s, followed by Boot Camp at Atlantic House.
- Break out your boots and check out this first-night event. Dance to the beats of DJ Wayne Michael, fire up a stogie on the back patio or get your boots shined by MLW Resident BootBlack Jay Falcon.
- Stay close to all of the Mates events during the weekend at the Stowaway, a 4-star guest house, rated “Superb” by guests with beautifully designed rooms and just steps from the centre of town.
Friday
- Kickstart your evening with Waterfront cocktails at Aqua Bar from noon, followed by an opening reception at Paramount from 5 pm.
- Uniforms and Cigars are the themes of the after-party. Military, firefighter, police… What’s your fantasy? Dance to the beats of DJ Chris Racine.
- If you want to stay at the Crown And Anchor, you should book your stay several months in advance.
Saturday
- The Boatslip Resort hosts a unique Leather Market and Raffle from 11 am to 3 pm, followed by a Leather Tea Dance at Atlantic House from 6 pm. Not your mother’s tea… Dance to the beats of DJ Wayne Michael.
- Enjoy the main event on Saturday night at the Crown and Anchor as the First Mate Contest kicks off at 9.30 pm.
- Saturday draws to an end with Hedonism, the First Mate Afterparty. Schmooze, cruise, drink and dance the night away to the beats of DJ Chris Racine.
Sunday
- Start your Sunday with cocktails and a delicious grill at the Boatslip from 11.30 pm. Stick around for the Tattoo Contest and show off your ink for a chance to win an Event Pass to MLW 2023. Categories have included Best Tattoo, Best Furry Chest, Best Nipples, Best Butt & more.
- Sunday’s main event is the “Rubber Ball”, from 10 pm. Shine up your rubber and roll, bounce or slide on down to the Atlantic House and dance to the beats of DJ Wayne Michael.
The Venues
- Paramount – The largest waterfront nightclub in Provincetown, located at the Crown & Anchor. Paramount features a state-of-the-art sound system, a large dance floor and a spacious patio.
- Aqua Bar Aqua Bar – A chill hangout on the harbour with a spacious deck, offering an array of specialty cocktails & beer.
- Atlantic House – Veteran gay club with dance floor, two bars & tribute to once P-town resident Tennessee Williams.
