The Annual Lake Worth Street Painting Festival in Palm Beach
The Lake Worth Street Painting Festival claims bragging rights as the largest free festival of its kind in the world.
- Enjoy a classic Lake Worth stay at the Sabal Palm House Bed and Breakfast, rated “Superb” by guests with delicious breakfasts, stylish rooms and perfect location.
The Festival
- Watch as over 600 artists converge, using chalk as their brush and the pavement as canvas, to turn the downtown streets of Lake Worth into a temporary gallery of art, creating a diverse variety of large scale traditional, contemporary and 3D illusionist paintings on the street.
- This is an event to visit twice! Come on Saturday and watch as the art starts on the asphalt then return on Sunday to see the finished projects.
- The streets close early on Saturday and the artists get down and dirty with pastels developing very complex works of art. It is truly amazing to watch the process of how these works are done.
The Venue
- Kick back and enjoy continuous live music on the Festival’s Main stage, located at the Cultural Plaza at Lake Avenue and M Street. All proceeds raised from the bars and food tents go to support local art initiatives and charities.
- The festival is free to everyone and over 250 street paintings will cover the downtown streets featuring artists from around the world.
- Street performers and Main stage musical entertainment add to the atmosphere. Don’t miss the Festival Food Courts and downtown restaurants, accommodating culinary tastes and thirsts as diverse as the artwork.
