The Pride Parade
- Next Edition: Saturday 17th October 2026
- The Historic Charleston Pride parade takes over downtown Charleston.
- Charleston Pride parade features an array of local groups, floats and colourfully decorated vehicles and a unique pride party atmosphere.
- Part political action, part celebration, the pride.
The Parade Route
- Pride Parade: 9:00 am–11:00 am, beginning at Wragg Square before heading along King Street through historic Downtown Charleston. The parade is free and takes place rain or shine.
- Pride Festival: Gates open at 11:00 am at Building 64 in North Charleston, with performances from noon. Expect drag, live entertainment, music, vendors and community groups. Entry is free, with a limited VIP option.
- Official After Party: Runs from 6:00 pm to midnight at Building 64, directly after the festival.
- Join crowds of people lining King Street as the Charleston pride parade runs through the heart of downtown.
- The parade route goes from Ann Street down King Street to Broad Street and then to Colonial Lake.
The After Party – Charleston Pride 2026
- Saturday 17th October 2026 | 6:00 pm–midnight – the official closing party begins as the daytime Pride Festival finishes, making it an easy transition from the festival into six hours of partying.
- Expect a mix of music, dancing and drag performances, headlined by Kenya Pleaser, joined by local Charleston drag queens. The organisers describe it as the place to “dance the night away” after Pride.
- The party is 18+, with tickets priced at $10 General Admission and $50 VIP. It is the official Charleston Pride Festival after party rather than an independently promoted club night
The Venue
- Building 64 is a large event and music venue at 2301 Noisette Boulevard, North Charleston, used for concerts, electronic music nights and large-scale events.
- Charleston Pride takes over Building 64 for the entire day: festival gates open at 11:00 am, entertainment starts at noon, and the official after party takes over from 6:00 pm.
- Building 64 is in North Charleston, not Downtown Charleston, where the morning parade takes place. Visitors staying downtown will need to travel out to the venue for the festival and party.
- Book your suite at The Quarters on King, just steps from the parade. Rated “Fabulous” by guests, the hotel offers a range of beautifully decorated suites and lofts.
