The Ending HIV Big Gay Out is New Zealand's largest and most fabulous family-friendly Rainbow Community event and part of the Auckland Pride Festival.

The Event
- Next Edition: Awaiting dates – Typically Sunday in mid February.
- Each year the Big Gay Day Out attracts of more than 10,000 gorgeous LGBTIQ+ people, their whānau and friends, for a day in the sun full of music, food, dance and colour.
- Big Gay Day Out Auckland kicks off from midday and continues on until 7pm followed by several after parties in the city's leading gay bars and clubs.
- Each year the main stage plays host to some great performances from local acts and international stars. The line up is sparkling and diverse, just like the event itself.
- Big Gay Day Out also features more than 200 different stalls from partners including health information, community groups, small businesses and a selection of fine food and beverage stalls offering delicious snacks and drinks.
The Venue
- The event takes place in Coyle Park in the heart of Auckland, just a 15 minute drive from the CBD or take a bus from the CBD towards Pt Chevalier.
- Coyle Park covers nearly 5 hectares, with grassy open spaces, mature trees, harbour views, impressive cliff faces, and a rock shelf exposed at low tide.
- Stay at the M Social Auckland, rated “Superb” by guests and close to all the city centre attractions. The hotel has a modern gym, stylish rooms and highly-rated breakfast offering.
