Benidorm Gay Pride 2027

Benidorm Pride brings six days of parties, drag shows, DJs and open-air celebrations to the Costa Blanca, ending with a huge beachfront parade along Playa de Levante.

The Event

  • Next Edition: Awaiting Dates
  • Seven nights of incredible indoor and outdoor parties, featuring a truly international lineup of singers, dancers, drag artists, dj’s and club nights from the biggest names in Spain, mean this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever.
  • The 16th edition will attract more than 20,000 visitors expected. The main parade takes place on Awaiting Dates
  • Benidorm’s gay scene is concentrated among the narrow streets of the Old Town, making this one of Spain’s easiest Pride destinations to explore on foot. The largest parties take place at Marakka and Auditori Julio Iglesias, with the parade connecting Levante Beach to the city-centre celebrations.
  • The Old Town is the best base for visitors who want to walk to the gay bars, Poniente Beach and the central section of Levante Beach.

Friday 4th September
20:00–01:30		 White Party Auditori Julio Iglesias
The festival’s signature dress-in-white celebration, with party anthems, DJs, stage performances and open-air production. Standard ticket €15; current checkout price €15.50.
Saturday 5th September
16:30–18:00		 Benidorm Pride Parade Rincón de Loix and Playa de Levante
Floats, performers, dancers, DJs and community groups travel along the beachfront before continuing through the city to Auditori Julio Iglesias. Free event.
Saturday 5th September
18:30–23:59		 Main Stage Parade After-Party Auditori Julio Iglesias
The official post-parade celebration, with live performers, drag shows, DJs, lighting and full stage production. Free entry, subject to capacity.
Sunday 6th September Closing Celebrations Benidorm Old Town
Final drinks, daytime gatherings and closing parties across the gay bars. Individual schedules are announced directly by each venue.

Benidorm Pride Pool Party

  • Benidorm Pride Pool Party takes over Marakka Benidorm on Thursday 3rd September 2026 from 10:00 to 20:00.
  • The morning begins with relaxed music, loungers and drinks from 10:00. DJs and the main poolside program start at 12:00, with cocktails, food trucks, pool access and optional VIP packages.
  • Standard admission is €25. Seating is limited and allocated on arrival. Bring a towel, as neither the festival nor Marakka supplies them.
  • A partner plans to operate a limited free shuttle to the Old Town from approximately 18:00. Seats are offered on a first-come basis and the shuttle is not part of the event ticket. A taxi is the safest option when planning your return.
  • Marakka is outside the central gay district, so allow extra travel time. The journey from the Old Town normally takes around ten minutes by taxi, depending on traffic.

Divas Disco

  • Divas Disco takes place at Auditori Julio Iglesias on Thursday 3rd September from 20:00 to 01:00.
  • The free outdoor gala combines drag performances, Spanish pop, DJs and the popular Pride high-heel race. Announced performers include Kika Lorace and La Prohibida.
  • Entry is free but subject to venue capacity. Arrive early if you want a good position near the stage.

Benidorm Pride White Party

  • The White Party returns to Auditori Julio Iglesias on Friday 4th September from 20:00 to 01:30.
  • Guests are encouraged to dress in white for a large open-air production featuring DJs, party anthems, stage performances and lighting effects. Standard admission is listed at €15, with the current online checkout price displayed as €15.50.
  • Auditori Julio Iglesias sits inside Parc de l’Aigüera, around a 15-minute walk from the centre of the Old Town gay scene.
  • Stay close to all the parties during the week at the Rh Princesa and Spa, a 4 star resort rated “Fabulous” by guests with spacious rooms and highly-rated for their delicious breakfasts. 

Benidorm Pride Parade

  • The main Benidorm Pride Parade begins at 16:30 on Saturday 5th September 2026.
  • Procession starts near Rincón de Loix and follows the Levante beachfront, with around 18 floats joined by DJs, dancers, performers and Pride groups. It then travels through the city before finishing at Auditori Julio Iglesias.
  • Route normally follows the seafront from Avenida Ametlla de Mar, turns near Avenida de Europa and continues towards Plaza de la Hispanidad and Avenida de l’Aigüera.
  • Parade lasts around 90 minutes and is free to watch.
  • The busiest viewing areas are beside Rincón de Loix and along the central Levante promenade. Arrive at least one hour before the start if you want a front-row position.
  • The parade makes its way along the Paseo Maritimo Playa del Levante. Check out the top hotels with views of the parade.

Main Stage Parade After-Party

  • The official Main Stage celebration begins at Auditori Julio Iglesias at 18:30, shortly after the parade arrives.
  • The outdoor program features DJs, drag shows, live performances and large-scale stage production until 23:59. Entry is free, subject to capacity and security checks.
  • The amphitheatre has step-free access at its principal entrances and accessible toilets. Some sections contain steps, slopes and tiered seating.

Kluster Circuit Party

  • Saturday 5th September – Kluster 10th Anniversary, Discoteca Penélope, 00:00–08:00 – €20 advance / €25 door
  • Kluster, Madrid’s signature gay party, comes to the beach resort of Benidorm for a unique pride celebration. with guest DJs.
  • A late-night institution with a sprawling dancefloor, open-air terrace, and hard-hitting sound for serious partygoers.

Closing Party

  • Sunday – Wrap up the week with farewell drinks at the gay bars or catch one final drag set before the flight home.

Getting around during Pride

  • The Old Town, Levante Beach and Auditori Julio Iglesias can all be reached on foot from a central hotel.
  • Use a taxi for Marakka, particularly if travelling in swimwear or returning after the Pool Party.
  • Parade-day road closures can cause delays across Levante, so walk whenever possible on Saturday afternoon.
  • Benidorm taxis are metered. Taxi ranks can be found near the Old Town, Avenida del Mediterráneo, major hotels and both ends of Levante Beach.

Event History

  • From its humble beginning back in 2011 attended by just a few thousand regulars, who know and love Benidorm, the event has gained momentum with around 20,000 happy revellers taking part last year and is now recognised as the European Summer Closing Pride.
  • With a well established and welcoming gay village, nestled in and around the narrow, picturesque streets of its old town, the jewel of the Costa Blanca plays host to many people’s favourite event on the LGBT calendar.
  • FUN, FRIENDLY and just a little bit FLIRTY are the three ‘F’s that ensure visitors to Benidorm Pride have an unforgettable experience, bringing many of them back year after year.
