Calling all Gays, Ghouls, Zombies and Zems, Australia’s biggest LGBTQIA+ Halloween Party.
Calling all Gays, Ghouls, Zombies and Zems, Australia’s biggest LGBTQIA+ Halloween Party haunts Sydney’s biggest event venues this October.
- Are you visiting Sydney for Halloween? Stay in the CBD, close to all of Sydney’s gay bars. Stay at the Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour with a modern gym, beautiful rooftop pool, modern rooms and perfect location.
The Party
- Next Edition: Saturday, October 31, 2026 .
- GAYM Entertainment brings HALLOYOU to Sydney for Halloween, taking over ARQ Sydney from 10pm until 6am.
- Josh Harrison and Ponyboy headline the 2026 edition, with further DJs and performers joining the lineup.
- Featuring over-the-top decor, dancers, performances and amazing costumes.
- The party brings a mix of circuit boys and Sydney club regulars, drag fans and visitors in town for Halloween weekend.
- ARQ’s two-level layout features a large main dance floor with separate spaces to move between during the eight-hour party.
- Costumes are essential. Sexy, elaborate, strange or scary all work here – turning up dressed for an ordinary Saturday night just wont do!
- Two optional add-ons extend the experience: Sauna X Access during the party and Morning Glory, GAYM’s official Sunday-morning after party.

The Venue – ARQ Sydney
- ARQ Sydney – 16 Flinders Street, Darlinghurst, just off Oxford Street and Taylor Square.
- ARQ is one of the landmark names in Sydney gay nightlife, with a large main dance floor, world class sound and lighting production and a layout made for big queer party nights.
- HALLOYOU runs until 6am, so staying around Darlinghurst or Surry Hills makes much better sense than booking farther across Sydney.
- Oxford Street‘s gay bars are within walking distance, making it easy to start with drinks before heading to ARQ later in the evening.
The 2026 Lineup
- Josh Harrison – International headliner.
- Ponyboy – International headliner.
- Further DJs, performers and Halloween production are still to be announced by GAYM Entertainment.
Sauna X Access
- Sauna X by 357 – Set directly behind ARQ at 10 Taylor Street.
- HALLOYOU ticket holders can purchase a separate Sauna X Access add-on for the night.
- Sauna X is a men-only venue with a spa, dry sauna, steam room and private play spaces.
- Selected GAYM events connect the two venues, creating a very different addition to the main HALLOYOU dance-floor experience.
- Sauna access is not included with standard HALLOYOU admission, so add it when buying your party ticket if you plan to use it.
Morning Glory Halloween After Party
- Sunday 1st November 2026 – If 6am feels far too early to call it a night, GAYM moves the party across Sydney for its official Halloween after hours from 3am-10am.
- Morning Glory Halloween takes over the rooftop at HOME The Venue, Cockle Bay Wharf, Darling Harbour.
- The party overlaps with the final hours of HALLOYOU, letting guests decide whether to stay at ARQ until closing or move across to Darling Harbour earlier.
- Enjoy a sunrise session overlooking the harbour with GAYM DJs and plenty of HALLOYOU guests continuing straight through from Saturday night.
- Morning Glory requires a separate ticket or HALLOYOU add-on.
Gay Darlinghurst Before HALLOYOU
- Darlinghurst is the right place to base your Halloween evening. Oxford Street and Taylor Square put several of Sydney’s established LGBTQ+ venues within walking distance of ARQ.
- The Colombian Hotel – 117-125 Oxford Street. Long-running gay venue with several levels, street-facing bars and a rooftop. A reliable meeting point before the larger clubs.
- The Oxford Hotel – 134 Oxford Street. One of the anchors of Oxford Street, combining the main pub with Ginger’s, Polo Lounge and Oxford Underground.
- Universal Sydney – 85-91 Oxford Street. Large multi-room LGBTQ+ venue with drag, DJs and late-night club programming.
- Palms on Oxford – 124 Oxford Street. Sydney institution built around retro pop, camp classics and a basement dance floor. A completely different soundtrack from HALLOYOU.
- Kinselas – 383 Bourke Street. Art Deco pub overlooking Taylor Square, popular with the gay crowd from afternoon drinks through late evening.
- TROUGH X – 273 Crown Street, Surry Hills. Men-only fetish and cruise venue with club and play spaces. A much harder alternative to the mainstream Oxford Street scene.
Where to Stay
- For HALLOYOU, stay in Darlinghurst or Surry Hills. You’ll be able to walk to ARQ and Oxford Street and avoid trying to find transport across Sydney at 6am.
- 25hours Hotel Sydney The Olympia – Design-led hotel close to ARQ, with stylish rooms, several places to eat and drink and a rooftop terrace.
- Oxford House – Boutique stay on Oxford Street with an outdoor pool, around a 10-minute walk from ARQ.
- ADGE Hotel & Residences – Modern Surry Hills option within easy reach of Oxford Street and Taylor Square.
- Pullman Sydney Hyde Park – Larger five-star option overlooking Hyde Park, with a rooftop pool and straightforward access to Darlinghurst.
- Browse hotels in Darlinghurst – The most practical area if HALLOYOU and Oxford Street nightlife are the focus of your trip.
Planning Your Night
- Start around Oxford Street and Taylor Square, then head to ARQ once HALLOYOU gets moving.
- Doors open at 10pm and the party runs for eight hours, so there is no need to rush directly from dinner to the club.
- If you’re adding Sauna X, arrange access when buying your HALLOYOU ticket. For the full overnight experience, add Morning Glory and plan for a late Sunday morning rather than an early checkout.
- Halloween falls on a Saturday in 2026, and Sydney has several major queer parties running across the same weekend.
- Staying in Darlinghurst keeps you close to the centre of the action and lets you build the weekend around HALLOYOU rather than spending half the night crossing the city.
