The Party
- Next Edition: Tuesday, December 29, 2026 – Saturday, January 2, 2027
- UNLEASH brings five nights of men-only partying to Bangkok’s New Year celebrations, pairing an anniversary main event with four nights of intimate after-hours parties in Silom.
- Tuesday 29th December – The Main Event celebrates two years of Party Gay Asia and one year of UNLEASH Bangkok. Make this your priority for the anniversary celebrations, DJs and performances.
- Wednesday 30th December to Saturday 2nd January – Four nights of afterparties for the Homepa crowd, aimed at men who prefer a smaller, more intimate setting for their late-night adventures.
- The program includes international DJs, performers and a multi-purpose play zone. Individual line-ups and opening times are yet to be announced.
- Other Unleash Editions take place during Bangkok Pride (May/June) and during early October for Golden Week.
- Stay on Surawong Road for a convenient base close to the venue and Silom’s pre-party bars.
The Venue
- UNLEASH takes place at a secret venue in Silom, Bangkok’s main gay nightlife district.
- The promoter describes an intimate setting built around music, performances and a play zone.
- Detailed room layouts, facilities and access arrangements have yet to be published.
Before UNLEASH
Start around Silom Soi 4, then head to Hook Bar for the late opening.
- The Balcony Pub – A straightforward choice for dinner and first drinks. Its Thai and international menu suits groups, and the Soi 4 address keeps your evening concentrated in the gay nightlife district.
- The Stranger Bar – Pick this for drag before the party. Check the evening’s programme and book a table if you want to make the show part of your night.
Where to Stay
Choose Surawong for this edition: both nights now take place at Hook Bar.
- Le Méridien Bangkok – Contemporary luxury on Surawong Road, with an outdoor pool, spa and Japanese-inspired onsen. The strongest choice for a comfortable recovery day between parties.
- Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok – A renovated Bangkok landmark with an outdoor pool and Ruenton restaurant. Choose it for classic hotel character and a convenient dinner option before heading out.
- Amara Bangkok Hotel – A modern Surawong base with a rooftop pool, suited to travellers who want a quiet daytime break and skyline views between the late nights.
New Year in Bangkok
- Build your evening around dinner, drinks and UNLEASH after hours. Confirm the Thursday 31st December opening time before deciding where to spend midnight.
- Book New Year’s Eve dinners and rooftop drinks ahead, checking for compulsory packages, minimum spends and separate admission charges.
- Staying locally makes a five-night programme easier, with your room close enough for a break between daytime plans and late-night parties.
- Arrive on Monday 28th December for time to settle in before the anniversary event. For the full run, book your room through Sunday 3rd January, or Monday 4th January for a recovery day.
- Leave extra time for journeys on New Year’s Eve and keep the final venue address saved on your phone.
