Every year in July, Gay Fort Lauderdale celebrates “Flockfest”, a unique and fun weekend of beach events and parties.
- Are you visiting Fort Lauderdale? Stay at the Pillars Hotel and Club, rated “Superb” by guests, a boutique hotel offering stylish suites, an outdoor pool and perfect location.
The Event
- Next Edition: Thursday 9th July 2026 – Sunday 12th July, 2026.
- FlockFest is such a fun and exciting event, and there is nothing like this anywhere else.
- FlockFest™ was started as small gathering of friends looking to do something fun and different. The idea that started in 2015 with a small number of floats has grown to over 500 floats and 1800 attendees.
- Over the past few years the event has continued to grow and is now a five day event featuring several different parties and of course, the Flockfest Beach party.
- The daytime Flockfest event take place in Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. Night time events are concentrated in Wilton Manors. Stay close to the beach party at the Villa Venezia, rated “Exceptional” by guests with spacious rooms and a beautiful outdoor pool.
Flockfest Time & Venue
- Saturday 11th July, 2026, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Fort Lauderdale Beach , 700 Seabreeze Blvd, Fort Lauderdale.
- Flockfest is a beach party with a difference! All are welcome and are encouraged to bring their winged floats – swans, flamingos, ducks, etc. – and decorate them with creative flair.
- Admission to the event is free. Tickets can be purchased for access to the VIP area. VIP Package Includes: Open Bar and Food Provided Access to FlockFest Float – Blown up and ready for you, Gift Bag with FlockFest Swag also Free VIP Appreciation Party.
- FlockFest tank tops and hats are also available for purchase. Proceeds from ticket sales and merchandise benefit the Fort Lauderdale-headquartered Renand Foundation.
- Organisers encourage you to be creative with your float! Last year the event saw swans decorated with hats, beads, tutus, and even eyelashes!
- Stay close to the After Parties in Wilton Manors at The Cabanas Guesthouse & Spa, an adult only resort, clothing optional with a heated saltwater pool and a full-service spa, rated “Superb” by guests.
The Splash Pool Party
- Sunday 12th July 2026 – FlockFest Flamingo Splash Pool party at The Easton.
- The Easton Fort Lauderdale is a stylish rooftop lounge offering up light bites, beers & cocktails, plus a pool & city views.
- The party runs from 12 pm to 5 pm.

- Several events take place in and around the main Flockfest party.
- Highlights include special theme nights at The Pub on the Drive and the Leather and Feather Ball at The Eagle.
