The Event
- The Portland Red Dress Party started in 2001 as a basement party and has grown into a large-scale event attended by more than 2,000 people and raising upwards of $30,000 for local LGBTQ organizations each year.
- All attendees are required to wear a RED DRESS or pre-approved attire at all times to remain at the event and for ADMITTANCE.
- Each year the theme changes. Door times are: VIP reception at 8:00 p.m. and GA main event at 9:00 p.m.
- Stay right by the venue at the Hyatt Regency Portland with spacious rooms a large gym. The hotel is rated “Superb” by guests.
The Venue

- The event is typically held in the the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum.
- Veterans Memorial Coliseum is an indoor arena located in the oldest part of the Rose Quarter area in Portland, Oregon. It is a 15 minute drive to the gay bars and clubs along Start Street.
