Phurfest is an annual event that brings bears from all over the US and beyond together for a weekend of celebration and camaraderie to gay Phoenix.

Phurfest is a true Bear Adventure in the Valley of the Sun, organized by the Bears of the West!
The Parties
- The bear weekend boasts a full itinerary of events for attendees, including pool parties, guest DJs, a hairy body contest, a beer bust and other activities.
- Enjoy fun in the sun, a chance to meet new friends, and explore what Phoenix has to offer.
- Over 200 bears attended the last event. Other events include the Casino Day Trip, the Mr Phurfest and Phrurfest Cub competition, several Banquet dinners and a farewell lunch. Events take place across Phoenix.
