Madrid hosts one of Europe’s biggest pride celebrations and kick starts events with and epic Sunday Funday, “Pride in the park” festival this June.

The Smile Park Festival
- Smile Park is a collaboration between the We Party Group, Madrid’s world famous circuit party organiser and Boite Madrid, one of the city’s busiest nightclubs.
- The festival takes over the Recinto Ferial De Ifema Madrid and is the very first Madrid Pride party of the season.
- Enjoy a unique, world-class day and night festival with three different zones, amazing live performances, guest DJs, sexy dancers, food trucks, bars, a fairground and a host of other attractions.
- Zone 1 – “Playa Stage” featuring Sundia Party, the official refreshment of the Summer!

The Venue
- IFEA Madrid – A massive indoor and outdoor exhibition centre with over 240,000 m2 of space.
- The venue is set to be transformed by the organisers into a multi-zone location as part of the Madrid Pride celebrations.
- Located 20 minutes drive from the centre of Chueca.
- The nearest Metro station to IFEMA is Línea 8: Nuevos Ministerios-Aeropuerto T4 (The exit is opposite IFEMA MADRID’s South entrance.). This line connects the venue to the different terminals of Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez airport. Cercanías RENFE has a direct connection with line 8 of the Metro.
Where to stay during Madrid Pride
- Chueca is an area of central Madrid, named after its main square, Plaza de Chueca. It is known as Madrid’s gay neighborhood. Plaza de Chueca was named after Spanish composer and author Federico Chueca.
- Head to Chueca in the late evening for some great free shows as many of the pride stages are dotted across the neighborhood. It is also home to some great gay friendly hotels such as The Axel Madrid and The Room Mate Oscar.
