The Party
- Every year, on the last Saturday in July, Folsom Street Events® presents an over-the-top leather and fetish event: Bay of Pigs, from 9pm to 4am.
- Bay of Pigs is a vital part of your Up Your Alley® weekend. With 1,000 fit muscle pigs, hot daddies, and hairy bears in the house, there’s sure to be loads of fun.
- With a mind-blowing light and visual show, many rooms of music to explore, sexy gogos, and special surprises, Bay of Pigs aims to deliver.
- Be sure to explore every inch of the space, including The Loft. Up Your Alley is often referred to as Folsom’s dirty little brother, an event for “insiders” of leather and fetish community; and, Bay of Pigs is a major focus of the weekend with its inspired style of cheap thrills, obscene kicks, and hardcore action.
- Venue for 2023 to be confirmed.
Where to Stay?
- San Francisco is split into several areas but the main 2 are The Castro and Soma, with Soma being the area the where you will find Folsom Street, and most of the leather and fetish bars. See our two maps below for details on the closest bars and clubs in each neighbourhood.
- Other popular neighbourhoods include Mission District. As the modern hub of San Francisco’s most vibrant district, Valencia Street is home to some of the city’s hottest destination eateries, funky independent shops, most crowded watering holes, and eye-popping murals.
If you want to be close to all the tourist attractions and stay in some of the best hotels in the city, then we recommend the downtown/union square district.
