Antwerp Pride Nights 2022
After the huge succes of Antwerp’s Pride Night, the 2019 Edition will feature 3 nights of events, because Bigger is Better!
Pride Night brings together the biggest events and LGTB nightlife brands Antwerp has to offer, combined with international artists and deejays under one roof. Well, actually 3 roofs.
This year events take place not only in in De Shop and its neighboring smaller event spaces. 2 other venues haven been added to the program Cargo Club (better known as Red&Blue) and IKON (former Noxx club).
On Friday, Pride Night takes off with a very special edition of Rapido, by far the most popular gay event in the Netherlands. 2 times a year Red&Blue invites Rapido to the Diamond City, Antwerp Pride being one of both. For the first time however Rapido will take place on Friday in Cargo Club for the Official Pride Night Opening event.
On Saturday Pride Night will be spread over several venues:
De Shop, Bar Helder, Vaag and Ikon. These 4 venues will be hosting the creme the la creme of the Belgian LGTB events like Flash (Le You Tea Dance), Extravaganza, Les Apres Midis Croque Monsieur, Cafe de Love and for the very first time: H.I.M. All locations will be connected by our very own shuttle service.
For the Pride Night Closing Party on Sunday, we return to Red&Blue for a very special night hosted by Funky & Lumbago.
The gay bars and clubs in Antwerp are a little spread out; we have marked on the map where the gay village will be, which is where most of the major events will be held
Here are the hotels we recommend that have good reviews and keep you close to all the action
Gay Map of Antwerp
Antwerp is small and compact having a beautifully preserved old town in the centre. Having said that bars and clubs (more than 30) are spread out around the city, so its best to find a hotel close to the centre and journey out to your preferred destination. The main club, Red & Blue is located in the harbour. Famous gay monthly parties Studio 54 and Café de Love attract guys from all over Europe so book your accommodation in advance.

Why you may want a car in Antwerp
One of the great things about Belgium is its small size; most of the country’s top attractions are just under an hour’s drive away. Belgium is the perfect country for a day trip by car to explore the many historic towns and villages such as Ghent and Bruges.
The city of Ghent is truly the hidden treasure of Flanders. The heart of Ghent boasts many impressive medieval buildings including the Town Hall, the Belfry Tower, the Cloth Hall, Saint-Nicolas’ church, the old harbour and the Castle of the Counts of Flanders and there are some lovely hotels here as well
Bruges is the capital of West Flanders in the northwest. It is the most enchanting of cities, with its cobbled streets and medieval buildings. The entire city is protected by UNESCO. With all its attractions, you will need more than a day to explore this beautiful city so why not consider spending a day or two here maybe at the 5-star Hotel Dukes’ Palace Brugge
