When do Prague’s Easter Markets Open?

- The Prague Easter markets run for about three weeks, starting two weeks before Easter Sunday and stretching for one more week after Easter. They are open every day of the week.
- The largest Prague Easter markets are those on the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square.
- Nearby shops around the Prague 1 district are also open throughout Easter (some have limited hours on Friday and Monday)
- The markets open at 10am and close at 10pm.
The Old Town Market
- At Old Town Square, over 90 traditional wooden huts offer a range of Czech products and handicrafts such as beautifully decorated Easter eggs, laces, wooden toys and puppets and various Easter decorations.
- Every day the markets are visited by 10,000 people looking for some great shopping as well as an entertaining cultural program. The schedule includes music and dance performances, demonstrations of old arts and crafts, decorating Easter eggs and making candles.
